Continuing on with my blog series on common aliments that Massage or Reflexology can help with is E for Endometriosis.
This is a condition where the lining of the womb grows outside of the womb and can cause a lot of pain, discomfort and is very common amongst females.
In a Reflexology session, the reflexologist will start off with a general treatment to help restore balance and then focus on the Endocrine system – the Pituitary gland reflex (on the big toes) – to help control hormonal activity and the Reproductive system – the Ovaries (the outside of each ankle bone) and Fallopian Tube reflexes (over the foot to the other side from ankle bone to bone).
Associated reflexes are also the adrenal and thyroid gland reflexes and the lymphatic system.
It is recommended that you get 4-6 reflexology sessions to allow the body to respond to the treatments.
Stay holistic 🙂
